I did ask my theme developer and he said they don’t use auto paragraphs. Seems to be another issue with this plugin.
in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugHow do I disable this on just this page? I doubt it’s my theme. It’s got one of the highest ratings and most downloads of any theme on themeforest.
I also tried deactivating my theme and using the default wp 2014 theme and the issue was still there.
What else could cause this?
in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugHow do I just disable it for this page? I don’t want to edit my theme files. I need a workaround that will exclude it just for this page.
in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugLet’s start with 4 off the top of my head:
1) Gravity Forms
2) Fast Secure Contact Forms
3) Formidable Forms
4) Participants databaseAnyways, I’m tired of this discussion. It’s an obvious feature for any plugin that handles registration which is missing. Please close this topic as it’s going round in circles and it seems I need to get a dev to insert this basic feature.
in reply to: Phone Number ValidationWhen I check the page in text editor I don’t see any auto paragraph tags or any other tags that are added to the shortcode.
This is a very robust theme with many Themeforest downloads and is actively maintained with regular updates. It’s not just a cheap, quick, unmaintained theme.
Anyways, how do I prevent this issue that is occurring? I can deal with the odd look but the redirect that doesn’t work is a bigger issue that I need to work out how to solve.
in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugI wasn’t referring to custom php in plugin settings, but rather a regex field under field options that is checked against. This is how most registration/user profile/form plugins do it as well as various database entry plugins.
in reply to: Phone Number Validation@thomas- currently I have different roles for different people and they can do everything without backend access easily, except verify.
What’s the point of just verify people who are in a list? Surely you need to check their profile? or for other uses if you add a custom field then you need to review that response.
That’s what a verify is for, to check people carefully. Otherwise, just use auto verify!
Or maybe just a shortcode to list pending users where you can activate on front end?
in reply to: Verify Front EndIf you have a few thousand members and a new member signs up, you view their profile.
Now you should be able to verify them directly there. Rather than have to now go to backend and find this user again amongst all the users.Secondly I don’t provide my clients access to backend users page so this makes the verification/verify feature impossible to use.
Also – would be nice to be able to set verify settings on a local form basis rather than globally. (Since you can now set roles per form!)
in reply to: Verify Front End@themedutch – How do you verify users on the front end???
in reply to: Verify Front EndJust been googling “auto paragraph” and it seems its a wordpress default not a theme default.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wpautopin reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugI don’t have any <p> tags around my shortcode.
I only use
[userpro template=register form_role=”jobseeker” type=Job_Seeker register_side=”Please Login If You’re A Member” register_heading=”Quickly Register To Apply” ]I can’t change my theme for this! Anything else I can do?
in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugProblem comes in when you have many themes, many plugins and many customisations. It gets impossible to track all the changes through updates. Then you have a different dev and they forget and things break. That’s why it’s better if it’s a plugin setting rather than a customisation.
in reply to: Phone Number ValidationIs that also causing the login after settings to break?
Is there a way to to prevent auto-paragraph from just the userpro shortcode?in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect BugThis reply has been marked as private.in reply to: Layout Bug & Redirect Bug@thomas – I don’t mind which type or regex is added. But advising to add a line of code that get’s lost on updates is not good. Since it gets impossible to track what plugins have what lines all added across many sites. Makes it a nightmare.
Surely other users require regex so it should be an option….??? Unless this is not a generally required feature, but then again, why do most form plugins offer regex?
