Ignore the last reply, I found out it’s an issue with WordPress itself.
Basically if a user has zero posts it displays nothing on the author.php page, or since I have short codes for userpro there, it displays the admin accounts information.
in reply to: Some support questions I need answers to asapOh and I’ve found a bug, if a new user registers and goes to http://www.sitename.com/author/theirname and they haven’t published any posts yet it shows my admin profile header and description.
As soon as I publish one of their posts though it displays their name.
in reply to: Some support questions I need answers to asapYes! 😀 that’s exactly right.
in reply to: Some support questions I need answers to asapWhen you’re on the following/followers pages and it shows who you’re following the links take you to (by default) http://www.sitename.com/profile/username – see image for the parts I’m talking about.
These links go to that URL. Instead, I’d like those links to take users to the author.php page, as in http://www.sitename.com/author/username, get me? 😀
in reply to: Some support questions I need answers to asapResolved, thank you. 😀

We also need hooks to incorporate things into our themes, for example getting the user avatar on posts etc.
in reply to: IMPORTANT: High Priority Documentation Needed?Yup, same thing is happening for me.
in reply to: [Resolved] Conflict with jquery-ui css (tabs etc)Need the shortcodes/php API for the ‘Front end posting’, need to be able to remove fields from it etc.
Need php shortcodes to add user profile information to our own template pages, I dislike the need for extra pages and URL’s being created to display stuff.
Need to know how to disable the login/registration with the plugin (because it won’t let me login with my own login form).
The plugin is really great, but at the moment I feel like we can’t get the best out of it or integrate it properly with our sites.
in reply to: IMPORTANT: High Priority Documentation Needed?Oh wait I get what you mean
<?php echo do_shortcode('[userpro template=view header_only=true max_width=100% user=author]'); ?>
on author.php 😀Ok, but that still throws up some issues, like when I click on people who I’m following I still get http://www.sitename.com/profile/user-name instead of http://www.sitename.com/author/username.
And how do I stop the plugin from over riding my own login?
in reply to: author.php as user profile page? Can you write the code for what you mean?
I hope it can be done dynamically so each author page = whatever author that is, because I can’t be going around creating new templates for each user!
Thanks
in reply to: author.php as user profile page?I’d also like to see this feature added.
