just a note : it works with old list, i try 2 days ago with a mailchimp list created in february, i test it with userpro, and my user was added to the list.
But i made mistake the firtstime, i took the id from my signup html form, WRONG you have to take it from the list dashboardHi Again…
I Created a New MailChimp List, and Copied the List ID
and Pasted it into the List ID Field, and Saved itI went to the Registration Page of the New Blank Website
that I Created for this test, with the ONLY Plugin Added
being UserPro, and just “Registered” 2 New Users with 2
different email addressesThey were Both Added to the WP / UserPro System
They WERE NOT Added to the New MailChimp Lists…
Then I realized that this Test Site is NOT sending
Verification Emails, so I Clicked on “Send Verification
Email” and when received, Clicked the Link to Verify
the Account and then It Was Added to the MailChimp List…BUT IT IS STILL NOT INCLUDING THE (other fields) THE
FIRST & LAST NAMES ONLY THE EMAIL ADDRESS… Which
is what is was doing on my existing (real) Website…Do You Have ANY IDEA How To Make This Work? I NEED
the Names to be sent to MailChimp as well as the Email
address…Please Let Me Know?
What Do You Mean It Is NOT Available Right Now…
What good is it if it can’t collect the Data from
the Fields that are in the Registration Forms,
Especially the NAMES…HOW DO I USE A LIST THAT DOES NOT HAVE NAMES????
If This Does NOT Work, Right Now, I Either Need
It To Be Modified Immediately, So That It Will
Do This, or Just Send Me My Money Back for the
Plugin, and I’ll Find Something Else That Works…This Is WHY I Purchased This Plugin… To Have
An All-In-One System, And NOT To Have To Have
People Opt-In Multiple Times Just to Be Able To
Get Their Name Into Our Email SystemI Have Even Stated that the Names were NOT Updating,
Multiple Times, and NO-ONE Said Anything before????
Why Is This Is The First Time I AM Hearing About This…I have just read your original post for this topic and no where do you state anything about name fields. You clearly state that the problem you are having that no one is showing up in the mailchimp list as if the connection does not work between userpro and mailchimp.
You really don’t need to use capital letters all the time we are all capable of the reading lowercase text.
Yes in a perfect world, all the custom fields would sync with Mailchimp but that may be extremely complex to integrate or may not even be possible.
I doubt Ahmed will be able to implment this feature request right now so it would probaby make sense for you to look for an alternative. The plugin I suggested is the one Mailchimp recommend but it is a not intergrated with any registration process.
If you do find another plugin which offer registration with full sync to mailchimp maybe you can share it here as it may help ahmed to see how integration is acheived.
not sure who you are “peem”, or why you are answering me about this
instead of “support ahmed”, who i paid for this… (all in lowercase)1- re: my not mentioning that the names were not being imported into
the mailchimp list –– i have written by email directly (as I also noted in past posts), i
mentioned in “this” thread on (May 28, 2014 at 4:36 am) and I have also
had to write multiple threads in order to get help, and it was mentioned
in those as well– it also was not my first focus because the plugin was not working at
all, that needed to be fixed first and the names not showing up were
noticed after it had updated the mailchimp list– and why would you even say that i did not mention it before anyway?
if the plugin doesn’t work, it doesn’t work, regardless of when it was
noticed, or mentioned.2- yes, you keep telling me about another plugin… i ordered this one
because it was supposed to do it as an all-in-one plugin, where people
can “register” and are added into our mailchimp list at the same time –
that is why i purchased it.i don’t want a multi-step system…
3- not sure how “extremely complex to integrate” it actually is, but
i was searching last night and found at least 3 plugins that say that
is exactly what they do, and yes you’re right, it looks like i need to
get another plugin because this one isn’t working, so i just need my
money back, and i’ll be more then happy to try one of these others,
and let Ahmed know about it, for you…– again, all in lowercase, peem…
Now, i would like to hear from “Support Ahmed”, Please – apparently,
i now need my money back because the userpro plugin does not work
correctlyThank You!
Thank you for managing to avoid the caps lock in your reply, much easier to read! I am just a UserPro customer and like others on this community try to help out others and get into the community spirit. There are numerous examples of how a community based forum can really help people to find answers and support. When I saw your topic, I thought I would try and see if I could replicate your problem but I apologise if you have an issue with me trying to help.
There is a difference between a feature not existing in the plugin and you claiming the plugin does not work at all. The plugin does work, yes it would be nice if all fields were to sync with Mailchimp automatically, I would love that feature to exist but I don’t think it is fair to claim that the plugin does not work.
If it is not too much trouble can I ask how from reading the CodeCanyon page that you believed that the ability to auto-sync mailchimp form fields into a UserPro registration form existed. The wording might need changed to avoid the same happening again to another person.
All refund requests are handled directly via envato so you need to contact them if you wish to request a refund.

Also just incase you are wondering why you have not had a reply via email, Ahmed only provides support via the forum.
Anyway whatever plugin you use in the future I hope you manage to get your site functioning as you wish.
Good luck with your website!
thank you, peem, for continuing to answer for ahmed, almost as
if you were ahmed… you are indeed a very good customer, to be
handling so many support questions so ahmed apparently doesn’t
have to.peem, you wrote “Ahmed only provides support via the forum” –
well, this is the forum, isn’t it?NOTE:
I wrote ahmed, and mentioned that the names were not integrating
with mailchimp, I also wrote that I noticed that the “Name Field
Tags are “first_name” and “last_name”, AND I think the MailChimp
names seem to be “FNAME” and “LNAME” – followed by the question,
“Might any of this need to be changed in order for it to work?”ahmed’s reply… (which, by the way, did not include telling me
that “this is not a part of the system” – which would have been
the logical answer regarding a feature that supposedly does not
exist) but ahmed’s reply instead, was to say “I have
already synced mailchimp fields with userpro profile fields
correctly, and it seems to work so far”– this implies to me that this functioning should in fact be a
part of the system, and that even ahmed seems to think it should
be working… and to me, syncing profile fields would include name
fields that ahmed said “were already synced”.yet, it does not work for me, which is why I wrote to “support”
about this.this is, for the most part, a very nicely done plugin, but having
a system that would integrate with a mailing list provider like
mailchimp, that only adds the email address, is not a system that
is working correctly, especially if the developer is saying that
it should be working. I’ve also noticed quite a number of people
writing a lot of posts with problems with this system, so it would
seem that it is not quite working 100%lastly, for a customer, you seem to be a bit overly concerned that
I would mentioned that the program didn’t work – I was told that
certain info needed to be entered into certain fields, which I
did, and when I tried the system after doing that, it did not work,
so that is why I wrote that the system did not work.thanks again
