Hi Michal,
You need to enable single sign on for Disqus.
Read this tutorial: http://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/1148635-setting-up-sso-on-wordpress
It will take some time though, because you need to write to Disqus support team. Once SSO is activated for your website and you’ve followed all the instructions Disqus will work with Userpro.
How it suppose to work: every time when a new user registers on your website, Disqus would create a profile for new user as well. Disqus will use the name and profile picture from Userpro.
The only problem: your comments will not be displayed in Userpro activity stream (e.g. Dmitry commented on topic Disquc integration). I wonder if Ahmed can figure out how to make it work? It’s strange we don’t have support for the commenting system which is used my the majority of WordPress websites. I hope Ahmed will consider it for future updates.
You can see how it works on our website: http://inspire.am/
You’ll need to register and then comment on any article you like. I hope it helps.in reply to: Disqus integrationHi there! I’m having the exact same problem, the only difference that I’m returned to home page without signing in. The search bar shows the following: http://inspire.am/?code=4/e2V4yEvH-ZUy3xqZyb8_1GJaYhaz.AnY26f3_SJ0ammS0T3UFEsOyawpyiQI
Did you find any solution?in reply to: Google+ login doesn't workSame thing here. We need all shortcodes combinations with real life examples (like on homepage)
in reply to: All ShortcodesHi Ahmed, what about redirecting on iPad? Has anyone else tried registering from mobile devices. Users seem to register just fine but they don’t autologin to their profile page on mobile devices. So it creates a bit of confusion.
As for the Facebook thing, I have probably misconfigured my Facebook app.
And as for the Disqus, my guess is that the problem is that Disqus stores all the comments on their side (that means that comments made through Disqus are not native wordpress comments (others plugins, like, for example Commentator, work just fine with Userpro, because they use native commenting system of WordPress).
However, Disqus has an API, if you might want to consider addidng support for Disqus in the future, here is a link to their API: http://disqus.com/api/docs/
I’ve also found this article about single sign on but I’m not sure if it relates to wordpress and whether it would work: http://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/236206-single-sign-on
in reply to: Multiple bugs reportTotally agree with IDESIGNSTUDIO here. The message confirming that the post was successfully submitted for revision should at least pop up (like, for example, when you send a verification request the message pops up saying that the message was sent). If you add a similar pop-up or a redirection then it would be way more intuitive and wouldn’t cause any confusion among users and multiple posting issues.
The same problem happens when the user edits his/her profile. The message Your profile has been saved appears at the top of the form while the user is looking at the bottom of the form and keeps pushing save button thinking that nothing is happening.in reply to: Redirect after user posting a new post
