Great I’m glad it worked for you 🙂
in reply to: A TimThumb error has occuredWhen working on my local machine I use xampp and I have to change a line on my timthumb.php file to get it to work properly…
/wp-content/plugins/userpro/lib/timthumb.php | line: 209
Change
$this->src = $this->param(‘src’);To
$this->src = ‘http://yourwebsitehere.com/wp-content/’.$this->param(‘src’);
or
$this->src = ‘http://localhost/yourwebsitehere/wp-content/’.$this->param(‘src’);On my live environment I don’t have any issues. Timthumb does require the /wp-content/plugins/userpro/lib/cache/ directory to be writeable and /wp-content/plugins/userpro/lib/cache/timthumb_cacheLastCleanTime.touch also needs to be writable.
Try my suggestions and let me know if it works for you….
in reply to: A TimThumb error has occuredYou can use the plugin I mentioned above OR you can use my code in your functions.php file.
If you want to use my code the only thing you have to change is the $theme_location variable to whatever you menu location variable is. For example my main menu location is called “main_menu”. There shouldn’t be anything else you need to do.
If you’re using the plugin, haven’t test the plugin yet, but I am assuming you will add it to the menu via the UI and choose the login|logout option and add the “popup-login” variable to the menu item.
Had a look on your website and see you have implemented it.
in reply to: Add Class=popup-loginHere you go – tested and works:
Add this to your functions.php and make changes as necessary.
Alternatively you can maybe try this plugin?
in reply to: Add Class=popup-loginIn your theme’s template… for example header.php or wherever you want these login/logout buttons to appear.
To add it to a menu, here’s a good example: http://www.wpsymposium.com/2013/02/add-loginlogout-automatically-to-wordpress-menu/
in reply to: Add Class=popup-loginExample of my code with login/logout
PHP12345678910111213<?phpif ( is_user_logged_in() ) {?><a href="<?php echo wp_logout_url( $redirect ); ?> " class="btn btn-danger pull-right">Logout</a><?php} else {?><a href="#" class="popup-login btn btn-success pull-right" data-login_button_secondary="">Login</a><?php}?>Edit: Can’t seem to get code tags right, here’s an image example:
in reply to: Add Class=popup-loginBy any chance do you have the plugin “UserPro Custom Badges” installed and activated? This was my downfall and since disabling it, my WordPress Admin is 100% again.
Under UserPro -> Compatibility settings try turn off “Activity logging” and see if that makes a difference as well…
in reply to: Userpro slowing down dashboard?Great thanks Ahmed, that cleared a lot up for me, really smart implementation.
Tested and working great! 😀
in reply to: Muliple Social Linked AccountsI have a different email address for my Google+ account and another for my Facebook account – is there no other way of linking them?
in reply to: Muliple Social Linked AccountsHow does one do this? Would also like to know please 🙂
in reply to: Muliple Social Linked AccountsUnder “Settings” did you set it to “Read & Write” mode?
I had issues with Twitter on my first app creation. Wouldn’t update my settings properly, so I deleted my Twitter app, created a new one and thereafter it worked fine. This is something else you can try.
in reply to: Twitter logins fails to 'login'You can add on memberlist_verified=1 to the memberlist shortocode of thats what you are looking for?
e.g: [userpro template=memberlist memberlist_verified=1]
in reply to: Require Admin Approval don't work.You can use the shortcode…
[userpro_private]…CONTENT HERE…[/userpro_private]
in reply to: Restrict page content entire a pageThe page has a total of 89 HTTP requests and a total weight of 3005.1K bytes with empty cache which makes it really size on the inital load.
Use a caching plugin like quick cache / w3 total cache to help improve the speed of you site.
The main thing you can do is try lower the size of your files.
From my understanding just parsing the APP ID in UserPro is fine and correct yes. The issue you’re having I think is with the Facebook App settings. In UserPro the settings only have to be as per http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#facebook – you need to adjust your Facebook App settings.
To attach an image just click the “img” button in the editor. You will need to host the image elsewhere and just insert it into the editor as a normal html img tag.
When in Facebooks Developers: Remember to click on “Add Profile” under “Settings” and add your full website URL in there too. Just tested mine and I left “App Domains” blank and it worked fine.
Under “Status & Review” don’t forget to turn on “Do you want to make this app and all its live features available to the general public?” – Switch to YES. You will need to provide a valid email address under “Settings” as well.
