Hello, it’s possible hide page content entire a page, page area, for certain user-roles?
i try explain this π
something:
“this is restricted content, you must be logged in or register to view this content”
Hi TomassV I use a free wordpress plugin called WordPress Access Control to restrict pages by role. You can also restrict areas of a page depending on role but with this plugin it won’t tell you to login, it will simply not show that content if a user doesnt have the right role. The plugin works perfectly on my site and with UserPro. It even has a redirect option if wrong role tries to access page. Itβs a very useful plugin! https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-access-control/
Ahmed will correct me if im wrong but with UserPro you can resrict pages/posts so only members can view it. UserPro does not have the ability to restrict by role yet. You can also restrict certain content with UserPro but again only to logged out users, not by role either.
Hope that heps!
You can use the shortcode…
[userpro_private]…CONTENT HERE…[/userpro_private]
restrict_to_roles=x,x,x,x will work role-based in combination with [userpro_private] π
You are right, If you mean “global / entire page” from page editor, not yet. But this should be something I need to work on. It will add flexibility.
