Hi guys,
Yes, yes.. this is another thing I am working on in v1.0.82, a standard members list / users table format. I hope you like it.
Please give feedback on what columns you’d like to see! It’s still under work.

Here you go, see the live demo π
Amazing new feature that will definitely be getting added to my site. I guess the biggest issue with tables is getting them to fit on smaller devices. For that reason I would suggest removing the I.D column or at least hiding it with CSS if the I.D column is needed for the table to work. The shorter the headings the better (or font-icons even better), so for username/nickmame I would just call that name.
Is the table something we can change via shortcode to include different custom fields for different coloumns? If not that would be great.
It would also be useful if the table can be filtered via custom filters.
Sure, the table will be designed to allow you to specify which custom fields to show in it, precisely. And also which fields should be responsive/hidden on mobile π To give you ultimate control on the table content and the way you want users to be listed.
I’ve now made the columns editable via shortcode option so user can put his own columns. π I’ll work on responsive part too!
Fantastic feature! Will this also work with a filtered search?
It has the same logic behind memberlist v2 and v1 so yes it should also work with search parameters and pagination (Search / pagination are optional) but should work, I only changed the template- but the results of users are using the same logic. π So the search triggered on this template, or v1, or v2 should be SAME Only the looks of template is different.
I’ve worked on the responsive part, the new template uses 2 options that let you CONTROL which columns to appear and in which order, plus allow you to choose which fields will be SHOWN on mobile only to get a fantastic user experience on smaller screens. – It’s customizable!
Here’s how it looks using the media query on mobiles.
What options can I use?
memberlist_table=1 to activate table layout π
memberlist_table_columns= xxx a comma seperated list of fields to include in the table. The default values are: ‘user_id,picture,name,country,gender,role,email_user,message_user’
You can change, re-order them, or add custom fields “use field key” πAnd the last option, which does the MAGIC on smaller devices, you choose which elements PERSIST only in mobile, and other fields are hidden. It gives you control to do that with that option:
show_on_mobile=’picture,name,country,email_user,message_user’
As an extra UX improvement, the send message button for example, becomes an ICON only automatically. π
That’s it for that feature for now. I hope you guys enjoy it. thanks
This is an exciting development. Wonderful news, thanks Ahmed
Thank you so much! Mixermanhattan, the update is already available in customer area. Try out the new update http://userproplugin.com/userpro/customer_portal/
Nice feature π Is there a way to make the picture of the user bigger? ItΒ΄s very small in the table view.
It’s controlled by get_avatar($user_id, 36) in functions/api.php
Hi there
I want to add a custom photo in table. I added in this code in api.php but not working, pls. advise.
case ‘rating_photo’:
if ( in_array($col, $show_on_mobile)) {$mobile = ‘show-on-mobile’;} else {$mobile = ‘hide-on-mobile’;}
$output .= ‘<td class=”‘.$col.’ ‘.$mobile.'”>’;
if ( userpro_field_is_viewable(‘rating_photo’, $user_id, $args) ) $output .= ‘” class=”userpro-list-item-rp”/>’;
$output .= ‘</td>’;
break;
