Hi. This may be a question that belongs in the “customization” section; but since I’m unsure if User Pro has this feature, please feel free to move topic as needed.
I bought a couple of different themes last week, and User Pro looks great with both. But neither theme uses the default WP slug/title, instead offering a custom heading independent of the slug for pages. I notice that User Pro does use the default heading, likely because the theme does.
Is there a User Pro feature that will post all dynamically created titles (e.g., those e shown here and on the demo) regardless?
Thanks.
To simplify: Should the UserPro template automatically publish the title on static pages or is it dependent on the default WordPress settings? Either option would make sense, but I just want to know if I should be looking at the theme or UserPro. Thanks.
Hi there! I am confused a bit. Which titles you refer to please? 🙂 Thanks!
~I’m always working to make userpro look as close as it is on all themes, that’s with the help of customers who report css conflicts. thanks to them, and credits.
Hi. I’m referring to the page titles, such as “My Profile,” “Edit Profile,” “Membership Directory” –pretty much any title that would match the h1 slug in a default WordPress installation. My guess is that UserPro uses the WordPress default and publishes the slug as written–which makes good sense. But some of the newer themes offer the ability to use custom titles (regardless of the slug), and in the process ignore the title slug completely (that’s a slight theme defect, I think). Again, I’m talking about static pages only.
I actually suspect that it’s a theme issue, but thought I should ask here anyway.
At any rate, many thanks. I really like the way UserPro is developing.
