I have a website,
http://www.universidadesocial.net and the user registration is disabled because we work with a very exclusive group of people who are solemnly added by the admins.
However, everytime I add a user from the backend, it sends the standard wordpress welcome email (the dull one), instead of the nice UserPro email I had set up.
Is there a way to fix this or is the welcome mail restricted to front-end registration?
Nothing yet Lorianneh!
I am a bit disappointed with support, because I’ve been only getting replies if I become annoying and flood the forum.
UGH! My issue is a little different. I have it setup for an admin to approve a member. No notices are sent at all that way and I would like to get a notification that someone has registered so that I know when it happens instead of just the next time I login. As far as your issue goes, I am certain that the issue is that it has to be a front end registration using UserPro. Otherwise, you are dealing directly in WordPress rather than UserPro so the email is not sent. I am not getting ANY emails sent at all……blows! I was hoping that you had heard from someone regarding mail issues:-(
Hello João Abrantes ,
I hope you have done the settings to send the welcome email after the registration.
To send a welcome email after registration there is a setting to be done in userpro/settings/email notification/New Registration Template (Admin Notification).
I also tried to register on your website but i failed to ,as its not accepting any new registration. The only email being sent out on mine is the email verification email. I’ve setup everything.
there is not an option to put envato code on the link provided. Do I need to get verified?
