Url/followers/username/ produces 404 error

Hello,

I have noticed that each time the followers or following urls are accessed via profile page, it only shows a 404 error page.
Example; Whenever you try to access siteurl/followers/username or siteurl/following/username, it always give 404 error. Please, what could be the issue?
