Hey guys,
I’m trying to integrate BBpress in my website but it looks terrible. Mainly (I think) because the forums are too small to fit in the page. Anyway, I’ve been trying to fix it for hours now, but no solution found.
My forum section on the website:
http://transferrumours.net/forums
I followed the Guide made by the userpro creator: http://userproplugin.com/userpro/forums/topic/integrating-userpro-profile-links-user-badges-in-bbpress/
But seems like it too difficult for me.
Does anyone have any suggestions or is it just not possible?
Thanks,
Michael
In my experiences, this is why BBpress is so difficult to use. It takes someone familiar with CSS to really make it work well. Even then it lacks many basic features. Unfortunately I’m struggling with the same things as you. Since BBpress is compatible with the plugin I’m trying to build my forum with it instead of SimplePress but BBpress breaks my theme.
I’m interested to see what solutions you find.
I’ve included the ZIP package that I used here to update my bbpress template. You need to follow the same guidelines. I am not sure why it’s super difficult? You need to allocate the same templates, and edit the lines that I have noted in the tutorial (they have userpro in them) at which step are you struggling?
Basicly I just don’t have the technical knowledge I guess. I don’t know how to edit it to work in my theme.
