Hello,
I keep getting this message.
You are using a trial version of UserPro plugin. If you have purchased the plugin, please enter your purchase code to enable the full version. You can enter your purchase code here.
I have entered the purchase code.
I have cleared the W3Total Cache caches. I have cleared the browser caches, and restarted my MAC, twice. But I can’t get this message to go away. It should not be that hard to setup a plugin after entering the purchase code. And I am not the only one having this issue.Please provide a solution asap!
Hi there,
twl, please enter your purchase code and make sure curl is installed. If you can’t activate plugin this way, put this code in functions.php of your theme for example,
global $userpro;
$userpro->validate_license(‘xx’);And it will work like charm (activates your copy)
🙂
Also to hide email icon for example, go to fields tab of plugin backend, remove email icon from social fields. 🙂 That hides the email globally. Or you can also set email field to be hidden by default from email field setting.\
I hope this addressed your issues and you are now able to use the plugin
And is it possible for me to get my members to submit posts from the front end? The posts when submitted will need to be on ‘pending’, unless they are a certain role level (ex: editor and above).
I have a network of over 400 women, which I am trying to build a community around and was looking for a plugin to help with that.
twl, try compatibility settings “Disable activity log” are you on shared host?
Oh, and if a member is submitting posts, they will do it from their profile page, and their Profile info will show up or replace the default wordpress author bio at the end of the post.
The author will also have a history of his/her posts submitted, pending, rejected. And other members will have the option to follow the author and get notifications when they post.
We have over 100K fans on FB, and I want to know if our members end up growing in large numbers, that this plugin can handle it?
I am sure I will have more questions, but so far, I like your plugin.
No I am on a dedicated servers. Actually I have 4 dedicated servers, a separate database server, a load balancer with varnish. Plus I am using cloudflare enterprise to handle all my loads before they hit my servers.
Do not worry, that’s why I have the public support forums.
I personally tested this plugin on a client’s website with over 50k members and it was so fast. They have a pretty decent server tho, so it is really up to server resources as well. The plugin itself uses cached member lists to speed things up
Good to hear.
Where is: compatibility settings “Disable activity log”? Can’t find it.
It’s under General settings tab. Compatibility. 🙂
Are you using v1.0.84
Ok, after some digging around, this is what I did to get that message to be removed.
From file admin-notices.php line 17 I changed:
from:
if (current_user_can(‘manage_options’) && get_option(‘userpro_trial’) == 1)
to:
if (current_user_can(‘manage_options’) && get_option(‘userpro_trial’) == 0)
I did the the same for file _trail.php and that message went away and it seems like I can use the plugin with all its functionality. Let me know if this is right, or a better solution.
