I am sorry, reinstalling UserPro will lose all corrupt fields and field data. I can’t avoid that. That’s why I need your permission
Are you capable of fixing the issue without reinstalling userpro? Perhaps finding the errors and fixing only them? It appears to give the lines that have the errors.
If we loose our settings what will happen to our users profiles that have already been made? Is there a way you can back up the settings and profiles so that after the reinstall everything will be back to normal?
Any fields will have to be filled again – users won’t be lost or removed but this is necessary to fix an a very old version bug. I apologize. I am waiting your permissin and if you are OK send me the wp-admin details to do that.
So all of our users will have to recreate their profiles and start from scratch?
If so, this is a terrible solution and will really effect our user experience. Is there a back up or something that can be done so that once we recreate the fields, our users information will be retained? If not you may consider adding such a feature with a future update.
Let me know what can be done, perhaps a 3rd party plugin to back the content up. If we have to lose all of our users profile information I will need some time to manually copy everything so I can go back in after the install and manually rebuild their profiles for them. Hopefully I can get it done without too many people finding out.
