search field for Custom fields is not working

I have latest version of the plugin .

I need search filter based on my custom fields in the registration form.

Hi,
I need the search form without default members on the page .
When a user submit a form he will see all the search results on a page .
Look at the bellow pages what i mean.

This page shows some default members

“Found 5 Members” i dont need this before a search form submit.

without serach i need zero members just empty page with search form.

I’m new with Userpro. Really a complex use of a lot of short code 🙂

I’m going in to learn. I have read the doc, and some forum around. But I’m stuck
with custom fields creation:

Questions:
1 -Custom creation for user: I’m trying to add some new field here http://screencast.com/t/WAcmX1s5, but I’m not able to select the meta key. (not WP expert sorry)
I wrote here, cause I saw Asad has create a Dropdown Field with many items, then could you explain how make it ?
2 -Could be possible create custom fields for Post ?
3 -How can add that custom field in a search ?

asadi99 try adding this to shortcode: turn_off_initial_results=1

This will turn off initial member results until user makes a search in the member director

So based on your shortcode above it would look like this with this included:

[userpro template=memberlist turn_off_initial_results=1 search_gender=”Gender,dropdown” search_country=”Country” search_city_name=”City” search_state_name=”State” search_zip_code=”Zip”]

How i can stop redirection from home page of this website .I am using the plugin user pro.The search from is submit but not get results as the second page shows.

Please use the search of members in a page and try again. Make sure you have latest version too

It’s not error with the plugin, it’s really problem if you will use search on homepage because the url rewrites need to be added to a valid page.
