Is there a way to mark/highlight a field that is required (add an asterix to the field label or whatever)? I think this question was asked before, but not answered.
Sorry, but this is not helpful. I know how to make a field required, but would like to make it more clear/visible to the user, that the field is required. Right now there is only a warning when you click a field and don’t fill it in – a caption appears, that the field is required. But if the user doesn’t click it, then they don’t know (only after they try to send the form).
Yes, of course it could be optional. And about the looks – it depends, how you design it – it might still look elegant (but I understand, what you mean). In my o case I’ve got quite many fields in the registration form and on the first look people don’t know, which fields they absolutely have to fill in.
