I would like to know what is the purpose of the veried account feature. I mean that, ¿What is the advantaje of verified users vs non veried users? ¿Only the badge?
¿What is the purpose of this feature in your site? Can anybody help me to find an use for this feature?

I use the verified feature to ensure that only people with a complete profile show up in the members list. I make it clear on my site that if they want to be found in search directory that they must complete their proifle and ask for their profile to be verified. That way I can ensure that profiles with little information are not showing in the member directory.
The manual verification can be used by admin as a special verification procedure to ensure that not every activated member is a known personal. You can use it for that sort of purpose.
