I’m trying to find out how and where is the custom post type called? I’m trying to change the name in theme’s php so I can have a friendly naming convention.
Answer is here:
http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#shortcode_activity
Check the shortcode options as well.
For clarity I’m trying to find how the custom post type is called. For example in the demo when the support user post a new reply the public stream says support has updated “new reply”. I want to know how the plugin calls the “new reply” verbiage. On my site the custom post type name is not friendly.
Under social extension > UserPro
there’s option: Exclude these post types from activity
Enter custom post types by comma to disable from activity
In my demo, it is nav_menu_item,page,post,dt_benefits,dt_testimonials
I don’t want to exclude the post types, I want to track that activity, where in the user pro code does it call the custom post. In my theme one of the custom post calls ait-dir-item in the activity stream, I’m just trying to rename that call to something else but I need to know how the plugin calls it.
If you go to the following link: http://butikfinder.com/item/test-post/ it will take you to my site where the public activity stream is. you will notice that it say’s brayden27 has update a ait-dir-item. I want to change ait-dir-item in my theme to “listing” so it will say brayden27 has updated a listing instead of ait-dir-item. I’m working with my theme support and they have asked me to reach out to you to ask how userpro calls that. I want to say that userpro is call’s the rewrite slug but I’m unsure.
check out the following url: http://www.butikfinder.com/?dir-item=test-post
Ah, I got it. I’ll release an update to this soon. 🙂 Thanks!
