Hi,
I’ve been struggling to get the profile pictures to show up. They seem to have been broken after the change to BFI thumb.
I’ve followed all the instruction available on the forum to get it to work, but it’s still not working.
I think the problem is with the url created for the cropped avatars.
On my site, when I do an element inspect on the avatar, it provides me with the following url:
<img src="http://esltutor.nethttp%3A%2F%2Fesltutor.net%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2Fuserpro%2F3181%2F541272a2218aa.png" alt="" height="80" width="80" />
Note that the website url is repeated, and therefore the image could not be loaded.
Any ideas on how to rectify this?
Regards,
DeonI see that the url used here on Userpro is different:
PHP12<img src="https://forum.userproplugin.com/wp-content/uploads/bfi_thumb/547d4ca165777-1p7j8olel6dswvi8f0cbx47ro0infg3tbyi9r3jjwz50.png" alt="" class="modified avatar" height="80" width="80">Why are they different? I have the latest version of Userpro installed.
My URL doesn’t get doubled. My problem is just simply wrong encoding.
I don’t know if it’s the file where the information gets written into the database or where it gets collected from the database that needs to be changed, but i would like to know where i can change it.My problem was solved when I changed the URLs to relative URLs as opposed to full URLs.
@Daniel- Did you try the compatibility settings option ?
Please go to Settings -> Compatibility Settings -> Change URL Encoding and toggle the setting’s value.
If still it doesn’t solve the problem – Request you to please raise the issue using the contact form on my profile page along with the site details, this would help me to track the issue to closure. Link to contact page is – http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact Thanks.@deonsa – Good to know you have solved with the problem 🙂
