Hello.I network activated Userpro. User updated his profile picture in his personal blog and when he visits the main blog, his profile picture appears to be broken (http://postimg.org/image/4gay65fwt/) It doesn’t work even if that user is a subscriber of main blog.
Can you FTP the info to look at the issue for you please? Include all links relating to the problem as well please.

Hi,
I have the same issue. I cannot view the avatars (broken image link), but if I click on the profile picture they do show up in a light box. The link mentioned in some threads (http://userproplugin.com/userpro/forums/topic/wp-multisite-broken-avatars-on-subdomain/) is a 404 page.
Can you help me out?
Regards
Derek
Hi,
would be nice if you could post your solution so that other users could benefit from your experience, thanks! π
Best regards,
keyhanjunHere was my solution (Multisite):
The location of the avatars on your server has changed apparently. The solution is to copy all the folders from the wp-content/uploads/sites/6/userpro/ folder to the following folder: wp-content/uploads/userpro. The folders probably all have numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Copy them to the new location. The number 6 in my link is because this site is number 6 in the multisite. Your number may vary.

That’s it π
wp-content/uploads/sites/6/userpro/ folder to the following folder: wp-content/uploads/userpro
The new folder change is made to SOLVE display of profile pictures network wide. π
Thanks guys, Derek Ariens remember to verify your purchase.
Where can I verify my purchase? By requesting verification?
No, put the purchase code you have from Envato in your profile here:
I am experiencing same issue –Profle picture is not displayed.–
But,when I click “view member photo” ,avatar or uploaded photo is displayed on lightnbox.
I followed author’s instruction below.Thatβs it π
wp-content/uploads/sites/6/userpro/ folder to the following folder: wp-content/uploads/userpro
The new folder change is made to SOLVE display of profile pictures network wide. π
Thanks guys, Derek Ariens remember to verify your purchase.
But I still cannot figure it out. This is because I cannot find userpro file in wp-content/uploads/sites/6(2 in my case)/
Could you tell me how to solve this? There is no file called ‘userpro’ in /sites/2/ but it’s a folder. So, the last /userpro is the folder userpro within sites/2.
Copy all folders inside wp-content/uploads/sites/2/userpro/ to wp-content/uploads/userpro/.
Derek
@TOMO Since when are you using UserPro ? Maybe you are not concerned by this issue. UserPro now put uploaded files in wp-content/uploads/userpro (no matter if you are using single or multisite install). If you dont have userpro folder in your subdomain folders (wp-content/uploads/sites/”x”/ where “x” is you subdomain ID) your issue with pictures come from an other bug. Especially if pictures appears in lightbox, if it was a folder issue you could not see any pictures even in lightbox.
I installed the latest Version userpro yesterday and now there is only my profile(admin) exist.
Could you tell me how to in detail.
There are three folder(2014,sites,userpro) in uploads.
There are one file(called 1) and .htaccess in userpro foleder.
Uploaded photo is stored on 1 in userpro foleder.
There is no date in upload/sites.
There is a empty folder upload/sites/2/2014/04.Added:Sorry above was a bit confusing
uploads
– 2014 -04(empty)
– sites – 2 – 2014 – 04(empty)
-uerpro – 1(picture1) and .htaccessEverything is ok in your folders. Let me explain a little bit how upload folders works on multisite install, and please forgives my bad english, I hope it will be understandable :
There is two kind of uploads :
- In the main folder (wp-content/uploads/) : here eveything is network wide.
- In subfolders (wp-content/uploads/sites/x/) : each subsite of your domain has his own subfolder with their own files.
If we take a look in a folder :
- In the main upload folder you should have a userpro folder. In this userpro folder each numerated folder correspond to an user. For exemple the folder called “1” is your folder (1 is usually the admin ID). Everything you upload will be stored in your folder (1). Same for other users with their own ID folder (2, 3, 4, etc).
- In subfolders you’ll have, for example, your wordpress medias. Your folder called “2014-04” will contain all medias that you have uploaded in your wordpress media library on april 2014.
If you have a recent version of Userpro all your files would be stored in the main upload folder of you network install. In this way they can be available on all your network. If you install the messaging addon of UserPro you’ll can see that conversations will be stored in this main folder too. (The only thing that doesn’t work currently is featured image with frontend publisher, these files are uploaded in main folders but they need to be in subfolders).
Hope this can help.
