Hi there,
I’ve done some research on this issue with all the fixes not helping me in my current situation. I’m having an issue with the profile pictures on a userpro installation. A user can upload an image however after successfully uploaded and saved it just displays blank. If you click on the empty blank border where the picture should be it actually shows you the picture inside lightbox, just not as a thumbnail?
I’ve tried various fixes:
– Checked and updated permissions within lib/cache to 777
– Disabled all plugins and tried
– Reinstalled userpro
– Made sure avatars are enabled in the default WP settings
– Tried Method A and B within the capability settingsYou can view an example of an account here: http://www.afaba.org.au/profile/Aaron/

It might be worth noting that the cover image works fine, uploads and resolves within the container. Its just the profile picture. It itself uploads correctly, I can see it within the “Edit my settings” page ready for me to click save, once I do it refreshes and both the display and the actual profile picture are blank.
Hello avanston,
Same happened to me with last version. Have you tried changing the option “URL encoding” in “Settings->Compatibility” to OFF/Disabled?
For me it worked.
Resolved!
Just to let you all know I managed to resolve this issue by altering the compatibility settings in combination with each other finally fixing the issue. I had Method A profile pictures fix and URL Encoding disabled. that seemed work work fine.
“URL encoding” in “Settings->Compatibility” I can’t find settings where is that? Have the very same problem! Thanks!
Ok, now it seems to be working with stability. Only theflags don’t appear at all. Anyone has idea about how to fix this annoying detail?
YAY! Worked for me too. I could have sworn I tried EVERY option, but A and DISABLED popped all my pics back! YAY!
Hi Frogstar what version are you using?
I tried every option aswell but it’s still not working here.I’m using version 2.1.8
@1nvazN – I can see that you have raised ticket also and its been replied.
It seems proper permission is not given to uploads folder, so could you please grant 777 permission to uploads folder located in wp-content . I guess this should solve your problem. If not, please do let me know.
