Hi Ahmed,
There is an issue with the profile images not displaying, it is possible to upload the image. Initially when the image is uploaded the image ‘does’ display but when refreshed it is broken and no longer displays.
Please see at The Trusted Web
We are still in construction so to see this please select ‘Login’ from the top menu, create an account and add your profile image and you will see the problem.
Apologies – this thread now moved to correct forum.
Thanks I look forward to your response.
Best regards
MarkJust checking through the files.
I noticed taht there is not a timthumb-config.php file (I can see the timthumb.php file.
Should this file be present?
Please post the complete url of broken timthumb photo in a reply and not just your main site url.
Thanks Ahmed
Here you go
Best regards
markCan you please try this in compatibility settings:
Use relative path, and do not encode url. Please try these settings and let me try again your thumb file
OK I have set Use Relative Path – Saved
refreshed the page and here is the URL for the profile image
BR
MarkI checked in ‘file manager’ in Cpanel No it doesnt (dont know why)
I uploaded another image (by uplaoding through the profile edit facility) it showed the image uploaded OK then I checked in File Manager again and it wasnt there. Also the profile image not displaying.
When I was in Cpanel manager I noticed an .htaccess file and the contents of that file are:
PHP1234<Files ~ "\.txt$">Order allow,denyDeny from all</Files>FYI
OK I renamed .htaccess -> .htaccess_old to disable it.
I then reuploaded a profile image and now it works!
Looked like the .htaccess was stopping TimThumb form running
Thanks Ahmed,
Worth remembering to check if any .htaccess file in that directory first before editing anything else.
I look forward to your wall when it comes out.
Best regards
Mark
