Hello. I can get pot file? I need it to update .po files with my language.
Thanks.
The po files are included in plugin already, move them to plugin root and update the catalog.
Tfu tfu i need pot file, not po… You don’t understand.. I need the file with template of language to update the po file…
Hi trasek,
you don’t need the .pot file. You can safely open the .po file in poedit and add your own translation, make sure you have renamed the file so you don’t overwrite the original .po file.
Best regards,
keyhanjunHi, keyhanjum,
i need .pot file becouse i cannot update my accutally files with my own translate (you’re system don’t have official polish translate). Cannot update .po file with another .po file. Update from .pot file it’s fast and very good, old and new translation show , and we can do what we want.Best Regads,
Dominik, Trasek.i need .pot file becouse i cannot update my accutally files with my own translate (you’re system don’t have official polish translate). Cannot update .po file with another .po file.
That’s incorrect. You can update your .po file from another .po file.
Try this:
1. open your custom language file with Poedit (the one you have already translated):
userpro-pl_PL.po
2. within Poedit go to Catalog -> “Update from POT file…”
3. now choose the “userpro-en_US.po” as the source
4. now your custom .pot file will be updated with the missing strings from the en_US version which is always up to date.
PS: You could even rename the userpro-en_US.po to userpro-en_US.pot & all would be fine. 😉
Best regards,
keyhanjunmade a typo – 4 should be:
4. now your custom .po file will be updated with the missing strings from the en_US version which is always up to date.
Seems the edit function is gone here…
I’ll check with Alex if he changed the rules to post editing.. 🙂
Thanks for your help man
