Hi Ahmed,
I created an earlier thread I think in the incorrect forums, shown here: http://userproplugin.com/userpro/forums/topic/photo-and-video-embed/
I am having issues with trying to get the same photo, file, and video embed functionality on edit profile like what you have demoed.
My theme looks to be breaking some things, like the social login button, it places them vertically instead of horizontally.
Also, the custom header images do not appear after saving it on edit profile. Switch back to edit profile and the photo shows as new header, but when viewing profile it doesn’t show up.
Thanks!
Can I have a preview of your theme / UserPro together? Like profile view
Yes, it can be viewed at http://videogamemedia.com/profile/lucas
Thanks
Hi Lucas Atkins,
in regards to:
My theme looks to be breaking some things, like the social login button, it places them vertically instead of horizontally.
Yes, your theme is adding auto-paragraph which breaks the UserPro shortcode layout.
This is not a bug, but a bug from your own theme or usage. See the docs

Just checked your theme & found a workaround to solve this problem:
1. open framework.php
2. go to line 199 which states:add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’ , 99); #move wpautop filter to AFTER shortcode is processed
3. & remove it
PS: Please also notify the author of your theme about it to fix it or give a better solution, thanks.
Hope that helps. 😉
@keyhanjun you’re a legend! Danke 🙂
Last question on editing your profile fields. I have set the new separators to be a collapsable section. However, if you see the profile page again it shows that section in an unformatted version. Any suggestions on fix? Thanks!
Also, how is it possible to do multi-upload of photos and files? I tried adding multiple upload fields, but they do not show on front-end profile editor. Thanks!
Sometimes it’s a bit tricky & doesn’t work on the first try.
Means when you add the new “Add Seperator / Section” to the “Edit Profile Fields” & in your case set the fields to:
Collapsed = Yes
Collapsible Section = Yes
Heading Text = Photos & Files& then have added the “Photo Upload” field to it & then click on the black button “Save” it doesn’t work immediately.
But after you have done this just click elsewhere e.g. on the tab “Settings” & then come back to the “Fields” tab. Now reset the options again to:
Collapsed = Yes
Collapsible Section = Yes
Heading Text = Photos & Files& finally click on the black “Save” button again.
Now it should work. 😉
PS: Multi-upload of photos and files are not possible right now but Ahmed is working on a gallery feature as far as I know.
When have you become a UserPro Master keyhanjun? Feeling embarrased here .. :$ Thanks for your help, answer is perfect. The shortcode auto-paragraph issue is common with themes that apply auto p to shortcodes (Which is bad practice, but envato seems to not care about it :D)
@Lucas Atkins
Glad it’s working fine now!
@Ahmed
No need to be embarrased as I am just giving back what I have learned from here in the last couple of weeks. 😉
@keyhanjun and Ahmed, Everything works after removing add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘wpautop’ , 99); except the spacing between paragraphs on article posts and pages is now broken. Have to edit text to enter <br/> tags in order to get paragraph breaks lol. Any suggestion what function I could add back to the framework.php file that would solve this but not interfere with UserPro again?
Thanks,
Lucas, are you sure this is the only line that you removed? Do you see remove_filter(‘the_content’, … somewhere? I think the theme is incorrectly applyiing default filters to content. Normally they do not have to mess with that, and the paragraph spacing will work fine without adding these filters.
Ahhh yes there was also remove_filter(‘the_content’ line. I have removed it and it’s fixed now 🙂 Thanks!
