Thanks Lewis, but the plugin you have mentioned (I bought it while it was available on CC) is definitely not ready for prime time. 😉
Totally agree with keyhanjun
Go for woocommerce, it works nice with the subscription extension, a bit expensive but works great.

Sorry… For me is too much expensive… Crazy expensive… We are a no-profit and the price we have to cover yearly with woocommerce plugin is more than the subscriptions we have… So it will be nice if somebody could help us find a low cost or better free easy solution!
We don’t need tons of features, just free, silver, gold, platinum annually membership!
any news there?
Also: somebody who replyed with a test account posted a free plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/users-ultra/ which it looks the same as UserPro… so if it integrate a basic payment subscription (as I need) why Userpro can’t? Does somebody found a great one or (if able with PHP) build a custom membership plugin? I really need it and not only me as we see a lot of +1 there…!why hasn’t this question been answered by support at all?! Especially with all of the interest surrounding it?
Perhaps because it’s posted under tutorials / integrations and not under support… Start a topic under support and I’m sure Ahmed will respond. With him trying to develop new additions and changes and trying to respond to every question on every forum can be quite daunting.
Paid Membership is a major feature that would take weeks if not few months to be coded, it’s not as simple as you see a set of plans to choose from in a web form. 🙂 That’s why I didn’t promise to do this yet. I am focused on Support forum now, many, many questions every day, and people complain about support (?) leaves me in a tight situation right now..
I was able to use the Membership plug-in by http://wpmudev.org for managing Users in UserPro and charging subscriptions through PayPal. Hope this helps someone.
