Only show Display Name and icon in member list view

Is there a way to only show the user icon and display name of each member on the member list? I don’t want to show the gender or description.

If you do not want to show any custom fields in the memberlist, do this in your shortcode:

memberlist_v2_fields=””

memberlist_v2_fields – A comma seperated list of custom fields to display in member directory v2. For example, the default value is: age,gender,country which will display user’s Age, Gender and Country. You can enter any custom fields you want seperated by a comma.

To hide bio:

memberlist_v2_bio=0

memberlist_v2_bio – Show/hide user biography or description in member directory v2. Default: 1 to show

Thank you, that worked!

My only other question is: is there a way to filter the member list by a certain custom field? For instance, on my site there are two types of members (Business and School), so is there a way to filter by View Businesses and View Schools? It’s just a custom field that members have to select when they register (if they’re a school or business). Their member permissions are the same.

You can def. sort or show users based on custom field, this is also explained in the docs 🙂

Where as custom_field=”Intended Value”

For example gender=”Male” will show users who have “custom field Gender” value = Male. and so on.
