I have my membership set up as needing approval by the admin. However, the user is showing up in the memberlist on the front end prior to being approved. I have logged in as a non-admin and it is showing for lesser roles as well. Shouldn’t this be only showing after it has been approved? Thank you.
It’s actually meant to function like that 🙂 I didn’t want to create the users on approval, they are created already – but wait action from admin, where admin can simply remove the profile and that’s it. 🙂
Ok. Is there any way to allow the option in the admin settings of the user just not displaying in the member directory until approved? I’m concerned if someone creates a spam account and I don’t get to deleting it right away, my members will see it (my community is private and only for logged in users, but their trust will be lost if they see spam).
Another thought – perhaps a parameter that one could add to the shortcode that would not display unapproved members?
Hi,
try this shortcode here:
[userpro template=memberlist memberlist_verified=1]
