I state that I am creating a website where users (or clubs) can publish and manage events.
So my questions are:
1) I would like to have two or more types of users (people and discos etc..). How can I create a registration page where users can first choose the type of membership they want?
2) How can I customize the form of publication, adding custom fields?
3) Is there a way for users to leave a comment or feedback on the profile of other users?
4) Is there a way to add new badges?
5) Is it possible to integrate google maps for those who decide to enter their address?
6) And ‘possible to create a photo gallery? There would also be other question, but I will stop here for now …
I hope you can help me, it’s important! 😀And sorry for my english, but I’m Italian.
1) You can create two registration sets of fields and make a seperate page for each of them, then you can redirect users based on their choice. Like click here to sign up as a person.. click here to sign up as a disco.. disco would have the registration fields assigned to disco (Multiple registration forms is enabled on latest update)
2) Download the demo please! Adding custom fields is very convenient using the plugin backend.
3) No, profile comments is not existing feature.
4) Yes, SURE!
5) Requires custom coding
6) Planned feature.
Thanks 🙂
I already bought the plugin and I must say it really is the perfect compliment!!
1) How can I insert the form created in the pages? What are the shortcodes to use?
4) How can I do that?
5) How can I do that? Alert me if I ask for more than what is your purpose …! 😀
1) To put the register form, just use [userpro template=register] or [userpro template=register type=XXXX] if you created this via Multiple Registration forms. 🙂
4) Download latest version from customer portal, and upload your custom badges to badges folder. It’s all explained there, then add new badge and assign it based on users, or achievements. Tell me if you do not see the admin panel for badges it should be under UserPro! 🙂
5) That would be a paid job really. cause it is not built in the plugin. Tell me what you’re trying to do, it may be a good feature for other users as well!
1) Thaaaaaaank you very much !!! 😀
4) I got it ! Thanks
5) As I said before I have a website of events. I asked for the integration of google maps so that the clubs who register on the Site can share with others their position.
7) NEW QUESTION !!! I noticed that when I click on “edit profile” from the profile page, the plugin does not redirect to the page I created just for editing profile, but refreshes remaining in the profile page. How so? Same thing on the login page, from that page when I click on the link “Register”, the form is refresh remaining on the login page. Is this normal?
@Maurice Yabre, hello and welcome to UP Forums. I had the same thing happen to me with registration, instead of redirecting to your profile to continue setting it up, you remain on the same page. I’m sure @Support is looking into this, as I posted already about this very thing. Give him time to reply back. He always does, or someone from the Support Team will help you. Hope this helps. Blessings.
