Hi
I’ve tried to check “show logout when user is logged in” to no, but nothing happens, the button still shows in the top right corner. How do I remove this? I have a log out tab on my nav bar instead. You didn’t get this option. 🙂 This option displays logout for user when you are using login shortcode, and user is already logged in. If you switch it to no, user can always login via login shortcode even if he is already logged in. 🙂 I hope that’s clear now thanks!
So it is not possible to remove that button on the profile?
If I press that button it redirects to the profile page which creates the login form. If you press the logout button on the nav menu it redirects to the homepage. I don’t understand this settingIt is set to redirect to Homepage on logout page settings, but it redirects to two different pages depending on which button is used. If I press the logout button in the top right corner it redirects to /profile, if I press the nav menu button it redirects to homepage
The shortcode uses a different redirect feature and isn’t determined by the settings in the Global Options. If you want to set the redirect for the shortcode button use the following in the shortcode [userpro template=login logout_redirect=http://”yoursite.com”/] make the “yoursite.com” whatever location you want the log out redirect to go to.
So I put that shortcode to the login page and it will redirect from the profile to the custom site?
Still the same, tried to use it in login and my profile page, it still redirects to /profile
Okay it worked. I had to put it in the My profile page after and not entering the www.
Thank you for your response and patience
