I’m having problem getting customer login redirects to work…I’ve attempted to re-crete the the issue below:
1) First…I tried using UserPro in conjunction with S2 membership login. I was attempting to create a rule that would redirect all S4 members to a specific page via URL. That didn’t work…and I assumed that it was an issue with S2 compatiability…so I disabled S2 and attempted to use only UserPro to create login/redirect rules.
a) Rule paremeters:
i Username (all), Role (s2memberlevel4), Custom Field ([blank]), Redirection URL http://test1.[redacted]/login/my-account-elite-s4/
2) When that didn’t work…I created a redirect rule for a single user. This is not ideal would present at least a reasonable workaround…however, even this does not work.
a) Rule Paremeters
i Username (all), Role (s2memberlevel4), Custom Field ([blank]), Redirection URL (http://test1.[redacted]/login/my-account-elite-s4/)
ii. Username (single user email), Role ([blank]), Customer Field ([blank]), Redirection ULR (http://test1.[redacted]/login/my-account-elite-s4/)
3) I placed the following shortcode in the Login Page [userpro template=login]
I would not get any results when I tried to log in…so I removed the Rule i. from above…leaving only Rule ii. But it still won’t work.
Please advise.
Hi Matthew,
All the Redirection rules that you have tried seems to be correct. Can you please share screen-shot of the custom redirect settings via this link http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact so that I can have a look. Thanks
