Please help! I thought I posted this question 2 days ago, but I don’t see it anywhere on the forum. I have never exported data to a csv file. It’s probably very basic, but if you wouldn’t mind giving me the step-by-step instructions that would be great. I want to capture the User data in Excel for online marketing campaign. Thank you!
Hi there, you need to read the support policy before you can get support and complete step 1:

Thanks,as peem suggested please read support policy before writing in support.
Hi Peem and Ahmed. I have read your support rules and am unaware of which rule I’m breaking. Please advise. I have extensively searched your forum and documentation to find this information with no luck. If step-by-step instructions for how to export a file exists already please help me by giving me the link. What I have read in other forum topics does not give enough detail on how to do this. Thank you.
Step 1 of support policy is this:
1. Please post threads only if you have verified purchase. You can find your purchase code in your license certificate. http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#install Before getting support you need to verify your account.
Howto:
1. open http://userproplugin.com/userpro/profile/edit/
2. copy & paste your purchase code into the “Envato Purchase Code” field
3. click on “Save Changes”I apologize. I did this the first time I posted this question, but both the code info and my first question to the forum disappeared. Maybe a glitch on my computer. Thank you for you help.
The CSV export feature is pretty easy to use. Go to the export users page in the UserPro backend. Here you will see the export users to CSV tab with three options. The first option enter the number of users to export (just enter the amount of users on your site). Then the following two options allow you to exclude or include fields. So for example say you wanted the CSV to include all data apart from the users first name (first_name) then it would make sense to add first_name to the exclude box. However, say you wanted to only export users first name it would make sense to add it to the include box.
Once you have decided on what field you want to export, click the ‘export to CSV’ button which will create the download file which you can save to computer. All you then need to do is import the file into Excel or Google Spreadsheets and the data will appear.
Does that make sense?
You can export the users data to csv, csv data can be used in several ways, it is mainly for tracking and statistical purposes I’d assume. also helps you to send newsletter if you have a plugin that allow taking the data from csv and import it. I think it depends on what you want to use it for. The feature only prints it as csv file and does not do any marketing with that csv.
Just getting a little bit crazy, but cannot find the export user page in the backend?
If you activated your copy, you should see the following toolbar when in your wp-admin section:
