Ahmed , you said that you have this working on your demo site. I’ve installed it again and I want to try and get it working with Userpro.
What files should I put in the exclude list , so that the login works ?It’s extremely important we move to CDN and W3 is the best way of doing that. I’m not even using any of the other features yet, step by step.
Could you please advise on how we get this working, I think it would benefit a lot of people
One of the past co-workers did it, so I think you need to exclude the profile pages from being cached and that should work.
Hi Ahmed, thanks for the quick response.
So which pages would that be ? As they are pages not files I can link to on the FTP.
Could you give the file locations for these pages pleaseThanks
The pages that userpro created for you. example: where is your frontend login page? here on my site that would be http://userproplugin.com/userpro/profile/login/ and so on 🙂 Hope that helps!
So like this –
? Will this work?
Or does the link need to be to a specific .php fileThanks
To me it would make sense to have the “/” before the page name, so yeah
And surely it should be /profile/login and /profile/register ?
I’m trying all those options now.
Also we are using the right widget for login / register. So does that change the page name that needs to be cached ?Your own frontend login/register can be different, are you installing using the default setup if so , just exclude the path
yes installing using default setup. Except rebuilt with profile > portfolio instead.
Does this apply to the side bar widget too ? Is it using a page to display the login, or the code separately.
Maybe we can exclude that from caching too. With W3 and caching, and users trying to login I just get 500 internal server errors and the site goes down due to resource limit.
I am going to try W3 Super Cache, becuase total cache is just crushing my website and too many errors now.
This problem has been fixed with the latest updates?
If this is correct , how to configure W3 Total Cache?
