Hi guys,
This seems like an easy one but I can figure it out.
I have two new users registered with AUTHOR status – one via the Userpo registration and one registered using WP administrator.
When both the users login to thier account they can see their profile, but can’t create any post o rpage. They have no access to the WP dahsboard. Am I doing things wrong?
How can I get users who have been assigned AUTHOR status to write blog posts? Thanks
You need to allow them access to backend via Global Settings of userpro. there’s an option that allow you to define user roles to access the backend, besides “admin”. If you can’t find that option, please let me know 🙂
You can set it like: author, editor to allow both roles to access backend, all others will get redirected from backend and not see the backend.
Tell me if it works please, thanks!
That option: Enable these roles to view the WP-admin (backend)
Inside userpro > global options > redirection settings
H members or Ahmed,
same question but easier. Please explain “how” and “where” users post their standard, wide etc blog post with image or slider? Don’t quite understand!! Please revert soonest.
Tks
