search_from_age=”Age from,dropdown”
For the member directory, is dropdown the only way to display it?
Can we use checkbox instead?
Also, can that field be used for EMD?
No, the member directory does not support checkboxes yet. Thanks!
For emd, you can set custom search filters as seen in examples here (See enhanced member directory) samples.
OK. When will it support the checkbox?
Also, how do we increase the width of the dropdown? This is useful especially if the sentence is very long.As for EMD, how do we set custom search filters?
It only shows this code and nothing else.
[userpro template=emd]
I am not sure when, I am really focusing on customer support now and I can’t give ETA for such updates.
For emd, try:
emd_{custom_field}=”LABEL,dropdown”
etc 🙂
I try adding it to this but it doesn’t work.
[userpro template=emd emd_{district}=”District,dropdown”]
Is there a way to show only certain role?
I follow the documentation code and it doesn’t work. That code only work for member directory.
It should be: emd_customfield=”Xxxx,dropdown” similar to search_customfield or search_gender=….
🙂
I changed it to this code but it still doesn’t work.
[userpro template=emd emd_{custom_field}="district,dropdown”]

No. You do not need the { } ..just emd_YOUR_CUSTOM_FIELD 🙂 e.g. emd_city=”City” etc…
there’s no role option for emd yet.
Hmm,
So there is only that option for member directory?
For member directory, is dropdown the only option? How do we set the custom filter field to such that as long as the user select one of the dropdown, it will search for user with that field?
From your demo, it seems like all the fields have to be selected before the search can be complete.
Yes dropdown is only current option.
No, not all the fields. Here’s an example, I chose Egypt as country and clicked search.
Only one field is chosen, and results are returned correctly.
