I haven’t messed with redirects at ALL – all I did was install this!!! UGH!
Calm down. Take a breath.. If you have cPanel, go into your plugins folder and rename the userpro folder to userpro-123 or something. Then go to your site and log in. I don’t know what you had for your settings. When you log in, go to plugins and UserPro should be deactivated. Delete UserPro and reinstall it. You are using some plugins designed for buddypress. This could cause some issues, i’m not sure.. but if you rename the userpro plugin folder, WordPress should deactivate the plugin and allow you to access the site. This type of thing happens on occasion if you aren’t careful in the way you set up a plugin.. That is one reason WordPress has this work around ability.
Ok – yes, logged in and deactivated all my plugins – then reactivated them one at a time. It’s definitely this one that is causing the error. Do you need a list of plugins I’m using?
Hi Brittany Hull!
I understand your frustration, please bear with me, you need to do 2 little things;
– Verify your purchase http://userproplugin.com/userpro/profile/edit/
– Email me your FTP/WP-admin and a short summary of the issue – I will take care of it.
This issue is resolved. For users experiencing the same issue, please make sure you didn’t delete your frontend login page or you will be locked – because a frontend login page replaces wp-admin. If you choose to redirect users /hide your backend, and you deleted your front-end login page, you will just be locked out.
Thanks! 🙂
