I have enabled and created Facebook, Twitter & Google + apps for registration/login. Facebook and Google+ are not working at all for site registration or login, after following instructions exactly. After reading the forums here, it seems to be an issue for many installs. Please advise whether this is a script bug or an issue with my install. Thanks
Same here, for even twitter is not working. I don’t get profile pic.
Currently, the only one that works for me is Twitter but the Twitter profile pic does not pull. Hoping support will jump in on a FB fix soon!
@keith ,
We have fixed the facebook login issue in our latest version 2.1 .
In which all new users profile picture would be visible now the profile pictures which are not visible who have logged in through fb would either have to delete their account and login through with the same then the profile picture would be visible or you have to log in wth the new account then the profile picture would be visibile.
Our developers are working to bring in the profile picture which are not visible who all logged in when the bug was which is successfully fixed now .
Thank you and please let me the result in any of the either cases.Thanks but I’m still unable to get Facebook login/register to work on my site, using Safari and Chrome browsers. Clicking on the FB icon during reg or login just results in nothing.
Please advise…
My facebook/google login are still not working as well and the facebook login on right hand sidebar of this site doesnt work for me either.
@Joshua Vega and @keith ,
Please check whether the app have been genenrated properly . You can find the correct steps here in the following link –
http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#socialYes, the FB app has been properly setup on my install. In fact, a UserPro support rep successfully logged in or registered on my site via FB (based on my support ticket). However, I’m not sure how, as I have tested on all browsers within no success….
I can only get it to work in Firefox browser… does not work for me in Chrome or Safari. How can we ensure all browser compatibility? Even in Firefox, I got a big warning on the FB login screen. Also, is there a way to configure the script to NOT use the Facebook as the username. In other words, when someone registers via FB, it uses their associated FB email address ([email protected]) – is there a way to change that as it displays in the profile URL on UserPro?
@keith ,
Apologies for the delay .
Could you please help me with your site’s url (make it in private)@keith ,
I can’t seem to be able to replicate it on our test server.
Can you please send your website details via this link http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact so I can discuss this with you in detail ?
