Hi there,
We have successfully integrated UsePro with Facebook and so far is looking solid. However, we detected the following problem in iOS + Chrome (updated to latest version today just in case): http://s12.postimg.org/i070ej6jh/ioschromeerror.jpg
I have tested with iOS + Safari and it works fine.
Let me know if you need login details.
Thanks!
JuanHI, thanks for the quick reply
I tested it with 7.1.2 and 8.1Hi,
This could be due to other plugins/theme conflict. Can you please check by disabling all other plugins on your site and also by switching the theme to any default WordPress theme.
Please follow the below steps:
1. Deactivate current theme and plugins.
2. Check that the issue is gone now.
3. Activate your theme/plugins one by one until you find the conflicting item. Please try these steps and let me know further about it.
Hi,
Here you have a version of the site with only the UserPro plugin active and on a Twenty ten theme.
We have tested in several ways and we are still getting the same error in iOS + Chorme (http://s12.postimg.org/i070ej6jh/ioschromeerror.jpg). It has been tested on iOS + Safari as suggested by the error message and it works fine.Shall I give you access to this staging site?
Sorry, I forgot to give you the URL to the staging site:
You can test the Facebook login/registration here: http://viajesdepareja.staging.wpengine.com/perfil/registrarse/Hi, I havent heard back from you on this… and I really need to recover my staging site soon 🙂
Hi Juan,
I checked – it seems that facebook app is not setup properly. I am getting this error message when I try to login with facebook – App Not Setup: The developers of this app have not set up this app properly for Facebook Login.
Can you please follow the instructions mentioned here – http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#facebook
If still the issue persists – Request you to please raise the issue using the contact form on my profile page along with the site details, this would help me to track the issue to closure. Link to contact page is – http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for your reply.
I have just checked the configuration and app domain was missing. now is all well configured, however the issue persists. How come the change of support medium?
Ok, I’ll repost there in a few minutes. Once the problem is solved I’ll share the solution here for others who might have the same problem. Thanks,
JuanHello again.
It’s been several days and we have not received any replies from your support team, and we really need to get back out staging site. We have configured as you requested with a basic theme and no other plugins than UserPro, and left alone for your to access it and test as you request in the support rules.
We have also sent you a separate support message though you Codecanyon profile as requested (Zendesk ticket number 1494).
Could you please look into this issue ASAP?
Hi,
I have looked into this issue – the FB-IOS-Chrome issue and neither Facebook not Chrome have any help for it at all.If you try logging into Facebook via Chrome using IOS, Chrome simply shows up an error message on IOS saying that this is not supported and suggests we use another browser.
I have explored all options around this as well, but until FB +Chrome+IOS become compatible there seems to be little we can do about this.
