EMD custom search field not returning results

Hi,

I’ve tried to add an EMD custom field to my search pane, here is my shortcode :

[userpro template=emd role=pigiste emd_social=0 emd_fields=name,secteurs_activites,competences emd_country=0 emd_photopreference=0 emd_gender=0 emd_accountstatus=0 emd_bio=0 emd_secteurs_activites="Secteurs d’activités,dropdown" emd_competences="Compétences,dropdown"]

And it’s not returning any search results… Can you help me find what is the problem?

If the fields that you have filters on have multiple values, the EMD filter search won’t work. For example, if your users have multiple values in the field secteurs_activites and you search on only one secteurs_activites value, you won’t get any search results.

This is a very, very annoying bug on EMD.

The only solution I found is to use the classic members directory (shortcode [userpro template=memberlist]), and you will get proper search results.

I hope the Userpro team will do something about this, because I too lost many valuable hours because of this bug.

I agree with you, thanks for the insight. Unfortunately I dropped EMD and i’m using the classic memberlist.
