Variables you can use to build your mail templates

The variables in {CURLY BRACKETS} are used to present data and info in email. You can use them to customize your email template.
{USERPRO_ADMIN_EMAIL} Displays the admin email that users can contact you at. You can configure it under Mail settings.
{USERPRO_BLOGNAME} Displays blog name
{USERPRO_LOGIN_URL} Displays the UserPro login page
{USERPRO_USERNAME} Displays the Username of user
{USERPRO_EMAIL} Displays the E-mail address of user
{USERPRO_PROFILE_LINK} Displays the User Profile address
{USERPRO_PROFILE_FIELDS} Outputs all profile fields in the e-mail
{USERPRO_VALIDATE_URL} The account validation URL that user receives after signing up (If you enable e-mail validation feature)
{USERPRO_PENDING_REQUESTS_URL} Gives a link to the admin to manage his pending user requests and registrations.
{USERPRO_ACCEPT_VERIFY_INVITE} This is an automatic generated URL that user will click to become verified after an invitation to get verified is sent to him.

Are we only restricted to the above fields?

Can we include their first name, last name and etc?

Do you wish to use First name and last name in the email template as opposing to username for example? Is that what are you trying to do?

Yes, my permalinks were set to full name. Hence, it will be ideal to use first name and last name instead of username?

Or is it that although the permalinks were full name, they still have to choose a username?

I can add support for first/last name only no problems. You can use them in email templates but you have to be sure they have one 🙂 Do you want me to include this minor update to the plugin?

If I have added custom fields to the registration form such as the first name and last name, can it pull these data from it for the email templates?

Also, for the login, can we restrict only users with a specific role to login using your login page?

Yes the plugin can pull any custom fields as long as they are entered by user.

No you can’t restrict a specific role to login. However you can set registration to be “moderation” pending your own approval.

{USERPRO_FIRST_NAME}

and

{USERPRO_LAST_NAME}

Which you can use along with your MAIL Templates sent by UserPro.

By the way, for the photo/file upload, when it is viewed using mobile, users are not able to upload anything.

As for the drop down list for registration field, it appears to be a blank space when viewed using mobile but it is clickable by the user. The function is working well, just the display when viewed in mobile.

Hi yandao, I have not had any users reporting this issue. What’s the mobile used? Please open a new topic for this issue, if you feel there’s one. And I’ll invite users to share their experience.

Is it possible to add a logo graphic and url to the top of these emails?

You’ll need HTML in your emails The emails are currently send in text format. I’ve seen some sites doing it ,with the help of extra plugin 🙂
