Since I keep on getting activation error in my v1.0.87 installation, despite adding relevant activation code to theme functions twice (the second time I added the code, it made entire site blank, so I had to remove the code from functions file to get ite up and running again), I think that perhaps some files in my current installation somehow got corrupted. I therefore need to download a fresh copy of v1.0.87 as I do not want to upgrade to latest versions as I had problems with v1.0.88 and for me v1.0.87 works fine and has all the functionality I need.
However, in customer area, there is only the option to download the latest version of Userpro. If you can please supply me with a download link of v1.0.87, so that I can overrride existing installation, to see if it resolves my licence activation issue?
To be honest, I don’t want to risk upgrading to v1.0.89 because when I upgraded to v1.0.88, I ended up having to completely delete Userpro Plugin from plugin directory as well as clean out database, so had to redo everything again and the website is live, so it is a big issue to upgrade and things go wrong.
So I rather stick to the version that works 100% for me than risk upgrading and getting errors.
Version v1.0.87 was successfully activated and only started showing the “not activated” error messages in backend and on frontend yesterday. In admin it shows that it is verified and below that it gives the “not activated” message.
So very strange indeed. The only thing I can think of is that either userpro files or database somehow got corrupted.
And if you backup the database and then try upgrading? Would be nice if you can upgrade because Ahmed is constantly working on new features/bug fixes etc. SO the newer the version the better the features should be. Very strange problem you’re having indeed.
I can do that, but the website does not need the additional features offered in the latest version. I want to fix the activation issue asap, so that this particular project can be 100% completed and put to rest, as I need to move on and start working on another new project.
Anyway, I’m going to delete the plugin completely again now and reinstall again from scratch, to see if that fixes the problem.
v1.0.89 is working fine, and stable. I am using it here. There was a bug with pages saving (Endless loop) but it was fixed, so please try to download it again:

Btw, has any code changed in admin-functions.php, user-functions.php and ajax.php? I’m asking as I heavily edited those files in the past, so each time I upgrade, I have to edit the files again. This is also why I was reluctant to upgrade. So if nothing has changed in those files, in newer versions, then I know I can just upload my edited versions of these files and wont have to edit files again.
Ahmed, I installed latest version now and activation is working now, thank you. There is also no endless looping.
Just let me know if there has been code changes in the admin-functions.php, user-functions.php and ajax.php, since version V1.0.86? So I can know if its safe to upload and override those files with my edited versions fom V.1.0.86
