I just want to display the profile with the custom profile fields which i have selected.And i have used the following template.
[userpro template=view include_fields=”fieldkey1,fieldkey2,fieldkey3″]But the profile page only shows the default view of the profile(display the default profile fields) and not mine.
I have tried multiple times but failed but confirm that i have provided the correct values for the fieldkey names.
Hello
I’ve the same problem…
Could you please give a support
Regards
Event a simple [userpro template=view] does not display the fields configured in UserPro conf
Yes Moulloud,you are very correct.The feature is already promised by the plugin authors and its simple but very important need.But sadly,i won’t get support for this very simple question.Funny and frustrating!
Hello Sakthi,
I found a workaround…
Some fields are not viewable, configured in a database userpro option named ‘hidden_from_view’
These conf cannot be modified from WP dashboard, and not easily in the database itself.Then I found the PHP function that check that, to hack it.
In wp-content/plugins/userpro/functions/api.php
Search for the fields_to_hide_from_view() function
Then, comment its whole content, and replace it by : return array();Then the full code is :
function fields_to_hide_from_view(){return array();
}instead of :
function fields_to_hide_from_view(){
$option = userpro_get_option(‘hidden_from_view’);
$arr = explode(‘,’,$option);
return $arr;
}You will be able to display any field you want to
Best regards
LudoThanks Moulloud,for coming with some handy solutions.
I have tried your code,and it shows the previously not shown fields.But still not all the fields.I have used 7 more fields in the custom fields option,but it shows only four.I have double checked the fieldkey names but all are correct.Still figuring for some solutions.And the official support is seems to be dead! and i hope we have to help each other.
OMG!10 Days gone,still not a single word from the official,what a pity!
