Greetings!
What a fabulous plugin, Thank you!
I’m looking for information that will guide me in setting up the profile pages like they are here in the demo. i.e with the circle profile image, and a background image.
Is it just a matter of adding field for a user to upload a background image?
I’m very familiar with customizing CSS and I can always just stele the box to look the same, but I thought there may be something I was missing. Would hat to code the CSS when all I had to do is select an option somewhere.
Also, when I looked in the docs drop-down here, I read the part about changing your site to square icons instead of round. Funny thin, mine are already square, and I want them round LOL
I look forward to getting more familiar with the settings, and configuration and before long I too will be back in here helping others.
Thanks … Scott
I’m also having a tough time finding out how to turn on the ability for members to follow one another. I see in the demo that there are follower and following counts as well as a button to follow a user.
I’m unable to locate the settings for that, is it part of UsePro or is it another plugin?
Thanks … Scott
If you are using the current version of UserPro, you should have menu items for each addon in the UserPro menu. Go into the UserPro menu and into the Global Options and the first box there is Social Features. Make sure that is set to “Activate” and scroll all the way down and Save Changes.
Then go to the Social Extension menu item. Make sure the pages are set up. There are only two.
Add those pages to your menus.
You can go to the pages here, for each layout, the shortcodes are displayed. Place those shortcodes in the appropriate pages and you will have things looking like they do here.
I hope this helps. 🙂
Hi Scott!
You do not need anything special to make the profile look like demo. It can be your theme! Make sure you’re using the default skin.
In default skin:
div.userpro-profile-img img {
border-radius: 999px;
padding: 5px !important;
background: #fff !important;
box-shadow: 0 0 5px #666 !important;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 5px #666 !important;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 5px #666 !important;
}It’s already set to round picture. Did you try to switch the theme?
Also, please copy the shortcodes from live demo, or shortcode reference. Let us know what you found is it your theme or something else.
Lastly, please ensure you have the latest version installed and downloaded from:

@Central Geek I am almost certain he uses the version from codecanoyn v1.0.30 that’s why he can’t see social features and other profile styles etc.

Download the latest version (1.0.44)
Exactly what I was looking for, just a little direction as to where the information was. Thank you so much, I will let you know how it goes.
Yes, I am using the 1.0.30 version, and I’m having a challenge trying to locate the purchase code. I have tried the PayPal transaction ID, the PayPal Invoice number, the Envato invoice number, the order number (I think is the same as the PayPal transaction ID), the Envato invoice number, as well as the Envato ABN:
I think I have ran out of numbers to try 😉

AHA! … I found the purchase code in the license certificate.
Remove old version and update asap! Now tell us about the difference 😀
Oh YA! … it’s all there, didn’t have to do anything except upgrade.
Huge difference,
THANK YOU THANK YOU!
