Hi
I’ve installed better wp and would like to hide the login. If I do this, then it generates a unique key after the wp-login.php, is there a way this plugin can change the login url so I can keep having the login screen etc integrated on the site?Hi @Djdios,
Please follow the instructions on this page http://userproplugin.com/userpro/forums/topic/support-requires-verification-of-purchase-before-we-can-help/
Thanks for your cooperation 🙂
You need to add the query parameter to the login URL. But I see no reason really to use something to hide WP login, since UP does this already.
The issue here is UserPro stops people from accessing the backend. There is a potential for being locked out of a site by just redirecting all traffic away from the backend. Hide My WP, or which ever plugin is being used, does overlap what UserPro does.. However, because UserPro doesn’t provide a way for admin or someone knowing the special link to access the backend, Hide My WP is useful.. It’s overkill, but it is useful and helps avoid being locked out as an admin..
So is the hide wp an option to include in userpro? I just don’t want to avoid any brute force attacks via robots out tere, don’t know if they kan access if they are redirected like userpro already does?
