Allow certain user group to view profile of other registered users

Hi,
In the global configuration I can set up that nobody and even registered user aren’t allowed to view another profile. I need a configuration where I can set up which information other users are allowed see; I don’t want them to see all information, for example only name and the profile picture.
In addition to that I need a workaround where a selective group of people is allowed to view the complete user profile, perhaps configured with a new user group with selective permissions. This user group could register through another form and users would directly be added to this new user group.
Are these topics on your road map or could you develop them exclusively?
