I have however a serious problem. Version 1.0.89 breaks a lot of my plugins/functionality!!
For example:
– WP Markdown is not functioning anymore (is not showing the toolbar)
– OnePress Social Locker is hiding the content as it should, but does not show the unlock screen as it should
– WP Social review engine (enables rating of reviews, login with social media for reviews, etc.) does not function anymore.I also get an error in the console with a reference to UserPro:
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function scripts.min.js?ver=3.9.1:639
userpro_responsivescripts.min.js?ver=3.9.1:639
(anonymous function)scripts.min.js?ver=3.9.1:1468
n.event.dispatchjquery.js?ver=1.11.0:3
(anonymous function)I hope you can help me, because I cannot have the site without your plugin, but also not without the others!
Thanks!
Dave
Which file / line causes the problem? I will fix it asap if you provided me this info.
Is it a js error?
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function scripts.min.js?ver=3.9.1:639
userpro_responsivescripts.min.js?ver=3.9.1:639
(anonymous function)scripts.min.js?ver=3.9.1:1468
n.event.dispatchjquery.js?ver=1.11.0:3
(anonymous function)I got the error from the browser console, because I wanted to know why several functions did not show. This is a copy and paste of what my browser on: http://www.helingvanhethart.nl/verwijderen-van-geboortetrauma-met-rozenolie/
displayed…I don’t know if this is the cause however of the problem described, but it did show ..
Please download most recent version of userpro, because line 639 as described in console is not the line being described here, it does not have undefined function
The latest version was already installed, but I downloaded the latest version per request, removed all the content through FTP from the userpro folder and uploaded the newly downloaded content. Nothing has changed!
Through Safari, I get the following error in the console:
[Error] TypeError: ‘undefined’ is not a function (evaluating ‘jQuery(‘input[data-fieldtype=datepicker]’).datepicker’)
userpro_responsive (scripts.min.js, line 639)
(anonymous function) (scripts.min.js, line 1471)
j (jquery.js, line 2)
fireWith (jquery.js, line 2)
ready (jquery.js, line 2)
K (jquery.js, line 2)Again, I’m not sure if this is related to the problem concerning the breaking the functionality of several plugins (although the error is gone when I disable UserPro) …
I modified the code and I’ll test this issue on safari now 🙂
Hi,
That could be, but it has always worked! I have rolled back to a theme version that I know worked perfectly with all the plugins, but with that version and the most current user pro version it does not work either. So something is causing this and it is clear that when I disable userpro the problems are solved.
Dave
As an addition, I also noticed that the widget area is empty for single posts when userpro is activated.
Once userpro is deactivated the widget area returns. The widget area is visible for pages …I have just put some research in myself. It is a shame that I cannot upload files, because then you could see it yourself (by comparing code). When activating userpro a huge part of the end of the code is stripped off! This means loads of html code, css, javascripts, etc. is not loaded anymore!
Hi Dave,
try this:
go to plugin settings > compatibility settings > and disable social log check YES
That didn’t help, but it triggered something else. The difference with the working version was besides the update of userpro to 1.0.89, that I added some social media integration (didn’t think about that anymore). I already had the Facebook integration implemented, but I also activated the Twitter and Google integration. So I did some tests and the page breaks when activating the Google option! As far as I know, I have followed the procedure as layer out in the support area … I hope you can help me out fixing this issue, so I can use the Google integration.
In the meantime I have disabled it, so my site is working properly again!
