I have installed the plugin and upgraded it to the latest version. By mistake I initially installed 1.0.88 from Code Canyon and only subsequently realised the error. On the 1.0.88 version I could upload an image which showed on the profiles but on upgrade to 2.16 the profile image disappeared. It does now show, but only as a lightbox image – not by default on the form.
Here’s a link to profile search which shows the behaviour
http://bookbzz.com/members-2/?searchuser=conrad+murrayand to the detailed profile:
http://bookbzz.com/profile/Conrad/I have chmod’d the files to 777 as dealt with in the instructions to no avail.
I have a Buddypress installation with a membership of 340, most of which have uploaded images but none of these show on the profiles at all.
Ideally I would like to carry these across to UserPro — we are really looking to use UserPro instead of Buddypress — and it would not really be a problem to ask them to upload again but obviously it would be preferable not to.
Any suggestions or assistance gratefully received.
Same problem here, solved by disabling URL Encoding.
But there is an other issue : when disabling URL Encoding on multisite install, timthumb doesn’t work properly on subsites. On the main website the link for timthumb is correct (something like http://mainsite.com/wp-content/uploads/bfi_thumb/5318a9d9229d2-1o778zmyfv8pefx40ekkr0wtupt7gsbnr73srt5ghf1g.jpg) but on subsite this is the fullsize image instead (http://subsite.mainsite.com/wp-content/uploads/userpro/1/5318a9d9229d2.jpg)
I don’t know what you have changed in the last update regarding pictures but you need to fix it ASAP!!!
Currently I have 2 choices : no timthumb (like bookbzz), or oversized timthumb (by disabling URL encoding)
PS : Method B for pictures path doesn’t solve this issue.
Hello ,
I hope all of you are using the latest version i.e 2.16 and if you are facing this problem in the latest version please deactivate the URL encoding which is activated by default .Please feel free to let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you.
Thank you!Hello @NikolaGS ,
Go to Settings -> Compatibility Settings -> Change URL Encoding and toggle the setting’s value.
Save the settings and check again – images should show up fine now.Did you read my previous message ?

Disabling URL Encoding is not a fix for multisite install.
