Hi Ahmed,
I recently bought the plugin and everything worked fine until I wanted to enable google+ login.
I set up the app at google and copied the key,etc. but as soon as I saved the google+ feature in the userpro backend I got an error message on the website.
I found out that google+ apparently needs cURL to be enabled. My host doesnt provide curl so it’s not an option for me which is not that bad though because I don’t necessarily need google+ login.However,
after enabling the google+ option, I get the error message on my screen and there is no way to get rid of it other than deleting the plugin. After that my website works again.
After reinstalling the plugin I still get the error. I figured out that UserPro saves the settings in the database right? Can you tell me what I have to edit or delete in the database to get rid of the google+ setting?
Because apparently it’s still activated in the database but since I can’t get the plugin to run anymore I will need to delete that line manually.
Please let me know what I have to edit in the database or where exactly UserPro stores the settings, thanks!
If possible, is there a way to completly get rid of all the settings for userpro in the database so that it’s back to default like it’s never been installed before?
That would be even better, because then I would simply set up everything new, since I didn’t save too many options yet
Hi mellow,
please try the following workaround:
1. download the plugin “UP Reset”
http://www.mediafire.com/download/97cpszqb9o8pz4x/userpro-reset.zip
(It’s a striped-down version of UP v1.0.87 which only offers the reset function)
2. activate it (while UserPro is deactivated!)
3. use the reset function
4. deactivate “UP Reset”
5. now activate UserPro again
6. doneHope this helps & always remember to make a backup first! 😉
Thank you for the help, it didn’t work for me unfortunately because I got this error message when I activated userpro-reset:
Warning: require_once(/users/NAME/www/wp-content/plugins/userpro-reset/lib/twitteroauth/twitteroauth.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /users/NAME/www/wp-content/plugins/userpro-reset/functions/api.php on line 521
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/users/NAME/www/wp-content/plugins/userpro-reset/lib/twitteroauth/twitteroauth.php’ (include_path=’.’) in /users/NAME/www/wp-content/plugins/userpro-reset/functions/api.php on line 521
In the plugin window it said userpro-reset v1.0 but I guess since the changelog inside the folder shows the new updated file it doesn’t matter.
I activated userpro-reset while the actual userpro was disabled, any other solution?
Why does the userpro-reset plugin now complains about the twitter api instead of google+ for example?Please try it with this on here:

Hope this fixes your mentioned problems.
Sorry, I got it! 🙂
You can reset userpro settings with one line in your theme functions.php 🙂
delete_option('userpro');
Thanks Ahmed, thats good to know. Love your minimal solutions approach! 😉
Thank you for the help everyone! 🙂
As always top support from Ahmed! I used the code in the functions.php, it worked like a charm 🙂
Thanks for your feedback & glad the solution provided by Ahmed works fine for you. 😉
