Hi Ahmed,
I’m working with the newest version where you can create multiple registration forms… In effect, it makes it a “conditional” form, however, I’m hoping for conditional fields that can be used within the profile edit screen, as some of the fields I choose not to show in the registration form. Are there plans for this in the future? Thank you,
Erica
Erica, glad this works to an extent for you. Do you ask for JS fields (example a dropdown that would show if the value of another dropdown value = X) like that? JS conditionals, not PHP right?
Yes, I believe they would be JS fields. For example, in my community, a mother can choose whether she has had 1 baby or 2 babies (or 3, 4, etc..) prematurely. When she clicks anything more than one, extra fields for each baby’s name, weight, gestation, etc. show up. Or, if the user clicks that they are male, different fields show up that would pertain only to dads of preemies and not moms.
No I understand, I will consider adding JS conditional fields into a future release.
I shall thank you for your positive feedback always.
That would be great. Any time frame for those yet? I know I’m not alone in really wanting that functionality! (feature request forum). Your hard work is appreciated as always. I’m ready to buy any add ons you put out 🙂
I’m a +1 as well.
Is there any time frame for conditional fields? For example, we are asking for country. If the user selects the United States, we want to require the state.
I’ve seen a couple references in the support forum and on CodeCanyon.
Thank you,
-Todd
Hi Todd and other guys,
I have some network issues, which led to slow responses on the support, and in fact with the rising number of customers I will try to spend this week focusing only on support,/bugfixes/messaging and I hope that as soon as support load starts to minimize a bit i’ll work on new features including the most requested features. Sorry, but I have no other choice 🙂
Ahmed,
Any word on when this might be implemented? I have a project that I could really use this on.

Also wondering what peem and uamshealth have asked… this seems to be one of the most requested features.

Yes conditional fields but also just as important (maybe even more important) is field grouping. I have attached an image which shows how facebook linkedin and google+ have this feature in their edit profiles. They allow users to add something which then brings up several fields for them to fill in. E.g facebook, a user clicks add address then the address fields appear. Linkedin, you click add a position then all the fields appear that are requried to add a position. Same idea with Google+. It really creates a more dynamic feel to the profiles, instead of the more static edit profile page which we currently have.
If you could implement conditional fields/field grouping that would be fantastic!
