Looks great, you should remove the ID column however as this can be used for hacking into the user profiles of WordPress, particularly the admin.
in reply to: v1.0.82: A New Users Table Template! Check it!This reply has been marked as private.in reply to: Compatibility with WP Total CacheEvidence? This isn’t a crime investigation is it? That’s quite an angry response to someone who has purchased your plugin, which is basically a memory hungry version of Buddypress with less features, did you know for instance UserPro’s memory requirement nearly doubles that of most other plugins.
I think the problem does lie with a PHP error, and that is more than likely coming from UserPro, sorry for trying to point out an error that I generally found, even if you don’t think it doesn’t have anything to do with your plugin, the response should not be worded the way you just did.
In terms of error logs, no there’s nothing noting a fault in particular as it took our site down completely, all I know is that without UserPro our site loads fine, with it installed, it doesn’t, I’ll remember to steer clear of the forum next time, sorry for pointing out an issue that you could have at least looked at without interrogating.
in reply to: occassional white screenIt’s creating 5 pages each time I do what you suggested.
in reply to: Page automatic creation Big BugJust to give you an idea of the amount of pages this plugin keeps adding for me, I just deleted over 200 pages just for the login, edit profile, logout, member directory and register pages.
in reply to: Page automatic creation Big BugI’m getting the same problem, did the whole delete and then delete from trash, then refresh settings, but the userpro just keeps making more pages, so far I have about 20 profile pages, I think it might be easier to steer away from automatic creation and just stick to letting users add shortcodes, and then simply select the page you have added the shortcode too, this automatic page creation is too buggy and isn’t really worth the time you probably put into it to be honest, it’s just causing more hassle.
in reply to: Page automatic creation Big BugThere’s not really an example or link I can provide to be honest, all i can do is explain it I guess.
So basically at the moment if you are an administrator the plugin will allow you to access the dashboard, but if you are not, it will redirect you to the profile page.
This is all good until you come to think about authors, who have to regularly edit posts, moderate comments and access the general functions within the dashboard.
As such we would like to make it so not only administrators are allowed to access the dashboard, but also authors, editors etc, whilst keeping the redirect for subscribers etc.
Not sure you got the question, I don’t want to change it for subscribers, I want them to be directed to the front-end, but for those who actually need to write a post or change a setting, I want them to be able to access the dashboard without being redirected to the profile page as this stops them moderating comments, bug-fixing or changing any settings.
