Because you can’t use apostrophes in any fields 🙁 It’s been a problem for me on my site for over 6 months and doesn’t appear to be getting fixed.
Hopefully it becomes apparent that there are lots of users having this problem and just ignoring it will not be good for the plugin’s success.
in reply to: Slash Add@Eumed, you posted it on my thread, which went back to January with no solid answers or changes other than “meta doesn’t accept apostrophes”. Unfortunately, it was intentionally removed. Profile search is useless for me as well as my field options REQUIRE apostrophes.

in reply to: How to: Use the Date Picker FieldAhmed, is it possible in the future to apply the bbpress integration from within the userpro backend, as you did for buddypress? Thank you.
in reply to: Something missing in bbpress integrationI have to ask again, too, about when conditional fields will be added. They’ve been one of the most highly requested features for the past 5 months.
in reply to: Conditional Profile Fields and newest updateAhmed, do you plan on tweaking the date picker like we talked about before? Letting us decide which date format to show, which years to show, etc.?
in reply to: How to: Use the Date Picker FieldAlso wondering about what peem and uamshealth have asked… this seems to be one of the most requested features.

in reply to: Conditional Profile Fields and newest updateAhmed,
Please see screenshot of settings, I just added admin and administrator for testing. http://awesomescreenshot.com/0c82njm0b1
For testing, I tried a new account with the username “admin” (see http://awesomescreenshot.com/0572njmxc7).
Ok – now this time, the first time I submitted the form, I saw the red alert but only for about 1 second. I submitted the same form again, then the red alert came up and stayed. Do you think this was a fluke or is there something making it not stay up the first time?

in reply to: New Update Available – v1.0.86Ahmed, in trying out the new username/e-mail address blocking feature, I noticed it just doesn’t go any further in the registration when a value that has been added in the settings is used (I added “admin” as blocked username, and tried to create an account using “admin”). But no error messages are popping up on the front end of the form. Is this by design? Or is there a way to add a message to the front end when someone tries this. Also, the green checkmark shows up in the username field, should there be a red X or something? Thank you.
in reply to: New Update Available – v1.0.86Mine logout redirect is also not working. I re-checked my settings in the UserPro global settings, and tried 2 different user accounts on my site. I’ve entered the url for my contact page upon logout, but am ending up at the member’s profile page instead.
in reply to: Redirect custom linkFXsuccess UK, the tutorial is here as clear as possible, the only thing that’d be easier is if Ahmed did it for you, but he’s got a lot going on. Just use Notepad+ and FTP to edit your files.
in reply to: How to integrate userpro with bbpress forumGood update! I do agree with Nexnivis – it would be great to send those who register using social network to another form, smaller or with different fields than the full form, or at least be able to have some type of way to prevent people from using spam social accounts, like selecting their account role.
