Yes thank you, just replied
in reply to: Speed up siteIn the index.php
replace: require_once userpro_path . ‘addons/social/index.php’;
with: /*require_once userpro_path . ‘addons/social/index.php’;*/
in reply to: Speed up siteproblem solved. the user was added before we switched to userpro, user was forced to make a new profile. Not the user experience we like to see but it ended up not being to much of an issue. I could see this being a problem for people migrating to your plugin from another though, especially if whatever they used allowed dashes.
All good over here there, please mark resolved or close.
in reply to: PROFILE NOT FOUNDThis is in version .71 but have been around for a while.
If I reinstall userpro, and recreate the metafields exactly like they were, will all of the information from users and their profiles be back to normal as if I never did anything? Meaning, if I did this really fast while no users were online, no one would ever know right?
in reply to: Why do I not have all UserPro FeaturesAgain, novices like myself and peem have trouble “building” shortcodes. I’m getting better now but the front end publisher shortcodes still give me problems.
You have the following on the docs:
How to Embed This Shortcode in Editor
[userpro template=memberlist]
How to Embed This Shortcode with PHP
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[userpro template=memberlist]’); ?>
What I suggest you do to help novices is to add another example to that that shows a shortcode using as many fields as possible, like this:
How to Embed This Shortcode in Editor
[userpro template=memberlist]
Example of customized Shortcode
[userpro template=memberlist memberlist_v2=0 memberlist_pic_size=50 memberlist_pic_topspace=0 memberlist_pic_sidespace=0 memberlist_pic_rounded=0 memberlist_paginate=0 memberlist_show_name=0 memberlist_popup_view=1 memberlist_withavatar=1 search=0 per_page=28 memberlist_width=100%]How to Embed This Shortcode with PHP
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[userpro template=memberlist]’); ?>
Then people can see it and customize it. I know that would help me, and will probably cut down on all the questions about shortcodes.

Sounds good, thanks guys! Ahmed, You’re really on top of things!
in reply to: Users reporting they cannot join or save profile^that was to another post, please ignore. I got my browser tabs mixed up.
This did speed up the site, I can tell. However, it did not increase my google page test speed. I hear godaddy is not a good hosting service for wordpress sites but I’m not looking to switch anytime soon. I’ll be looking forward to a fix in future updates but in the meantime this is somewhat resolved…
in reply to: Speed up siteIn your examples of shortcode, can you please include an example shortcode that uses all the options? That way novices like myself can edit the code instead of building from scratch. I know it sounds silly but this would be a great help. Once I see how you use them in an example I can edit the parts I need or remove what I don’t.
in reply to: Speed up siteShortcodes on how to customize the member list. specifically adding a “follow” button to it.
Front end posting shortcodes (and ideas how to implement this) (I want certain roles to have the ability to publish to my site, I want the posting shortcode to appear on only their profile page but not be viewable to anyone else, I want to control what they can post and where it posts to)
Posts by users shortcodes
You have many people like myself that are aesthetic designers not coders, I have some code guys but I like to do the little things myself. I suggest you include a shortcode example that has EVERY option in it, for those that want to simply copy/paste the shortcode and edit the options they choose. Then have a list of what the edits can be, like “changing 0 to 1 for this option does…”
I know that probably sounds silly to you but people like myself struggle with making shortcodes work. I can edit code very easily but creating it is harder (I’m learning though).
in reply to: IMPORTANT: High Priority Documentation Needed?Wow, yeah that seemed to help a lot. I’m not getting a better score on google dev’s testing yet, but site is much faster.
in reply to: Speed up siteThanks, I’ll do that
in reply to: Limit Upload File SizeThanks Central. The site is working now so these things can wait for when you or someone else knowledge has the time. You can email me at [email protected] if you would like to discuss things at a later time.
in reply to: Help with a few thingsThanks, yeah The people here including CentralGeek are a huge help.I’m not a developer or programer but I’m learning. Since this is a live site I’m being extra careful. Thanks for al your help Support the site is at least functioning now that the shortcode bug was resolved. Your support is 5 star.
I agree, it is most likely a theme issue. That’s why I’m hoping someone with more skills than I can help me out.
in reply to: Help with a few thingsFeel free to mark as resolved
